What are the TTD Accommodations Available in Tirupati?

How to Book TTD Rooms in Tirupati?

When it comes to booking TTD Rooms in Tirupati, you have two options. You can book rooms on arrival. Otherwise, you can choose to book rooms online via the official website of TTD online. You can know more about these options here:

Booking Upon Arrival

Earlier, in-person booking of accommodation was offered only at the CRO in Tirumala. However, TTD thought to reduce the long waiting time for pilgrims. So, the committee has started new reservation counters at 6 places in Tirumala. So, after you finish your darshan, you can visit one of these counters for on-the-spot booking of accommodation to stay in Tirupati. But, remember that when you choose this mode of booking on arrival, you may or may not get the accommodation. You will get accommodation only based on the availability:

Procedure for Booking

1. The first thing you will have to do is to submit your registration request to one of these centres.
2. Along with your request, you should submit a valid mobile number, your darshan ticket and your Aadhar Card copy.
3. Once the registration is completed, you will get an acknowledgement slip.
4. This slip will have the expected time of room allotment.
5. The room will be allocated only based on the chosen tariff groups. It will be done only on first-cum-first-serve basis.
6. You will get an SMS about room allotment to your registered mobile number as well.
7. After you get the SMS, you will have to go to the sub-office of the area in which the guest house has been allotted to you. Here, you will have to pay the tariff and should gather the room keys.

Booking Online

Not only booking upon arrival, but also TTD offers the facility for pilgrims to book accommodation online. But, when you book online, you will have to book at least three days before your date of stay in Tirupati. Also, you can book 90 days before your trip date.

Before you book accommodation online, you can check the availability of rooms. You can do this from the official website of TTD at https://tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in/#/accommodationCal. Available rooms will be marked in green colour for easy identification.

Details Required

When you book online, you should, of course, be aware of the dates you have planned. Do you find that rooms are available on these days? If so, you will have to choose one of the four check-in time options available. You can book accommodation both to Tirumala and Tirupati stay from this portal. So, before you proceed, choose Tirupati from the drop-down menu.

Also, you will have to provide information about the number of days you need the accommodation. The number of people should also be provided. Once you provide these details, you will have to click on the Login option as you can find in the image below:

When you click on the login option, you will be taken to a page, where you can enter your login details like your registered email address and password. If you are a first-time user, you can sign up with the website. 

The sign-up page will ask for some details. Examples include your name, mobile number, date of birth, address, photo ID card number, user name and password. Make sure that the photo Id you upload here is carried with you when you occupy the accommodation in Tirupati. Once you enter these details, you can click on the continue option.  

Then, you will be taken to the accommodation selection page. Based on availability, you can select an accommodation. Finally, you will be taken to the payment page, where you can pay using your credit, card, debit card or Net Banking. Once this process is completed, you will get a copy of the receipt delivered to your registered email. You will also get an SMS confirmation for room booking. Make sure to carry a printout of the booking confirmation when you visit Tirupati to occupy the accommodation.
